Building Magic: My Disney Story

Our family's first Walt Disney World vacation together in September 2020 sparked the beginning of our small family business. Over the years, we've returned to Walt Disney World many times, embracing the charm of visiting post-COVID, celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary twice during its 18-month long celebration, and Disney's 100th Celebration at EPCOT in 2023. We've also enjoyed seasonal highlights like the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Disney's Magic Kingdom Theme Park. (Getting to attend the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts remains a dream on my own personal wish list!)

Beyond Disney we've had incredible trips to Universal Orlando too – staying in cozy AirBnBs have made these short getaways both enjoyable and adventurous, offering the perfect base for exploring Universal's thrilling attractions and nearby gems like LEGOLAND Florida.

In November 2024, we fulfilled a long-held dream by staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge with a Partial Savanna View as we celebrated my 40th Birthday – a true bucket list experience! Looking ahead, we're eagerly anticipating our December 2025 trip, which includes a stay at Universal's new Stella Nova Resort, exploring Universal's EPIC Universe, and returning to Walt Disney World for even more treasured memories.

I'm an Xennial, born in 1984, and obsessed with Bob's Burgers! I've got a great many tattoos, two Bachelor's Degrees, and a Master's to my name. A good charcuterie and mimosa are my love language, and coffee is my daily essential. Every Friday night, our family gathers for a movie night at home, and every Sunday, my brother and I binge-watch TV shows and play video games with my son – a tradition that began during COVID. (We're currently loving The Legend of Vox Machina.)

I'm not a fan of romantic comedies, but I am an avid gamer, sci-fi nerd, and bookworm who enjoys magical realism, fantasy, and gothic horror.
